Dominika Stančíková

Hi, my name is Dominika. At the end of 2024, I published my very first poetry book, Sunsets and Cliffs. It is an intimate collection of poems that deeply explore love and everything that comes with it: highs and lows, healing, fear, growth, and resilience, especially during and after a breakup. This book represents me overcoming my fears and sharing pieces of my heart with the world. A maze of my complex emotions, I sometimes get lost in trying to figure out the right paths to guide me toward what I need to see. I hope readers will find solace and connection in these stories and in the future ones I plan to share because we are never truly alone. When I’m not running out of ink or clicking my keyboard to the rhythm of my heart, I like to seek peace with a brush—a different kind of art where my mind and heart can rest for a while. I’m just a young woman who notices small details by default, finding inspiration in the everyday challenges and moments of life. I’m learning to balance my daily responsibilities with my dreams, navigating life’s invisible paths and turning them into guiding lines.
