Donald Lay

Donald Lay is a lifelong hobbyist writer, dabbling in everything from poetry and short stories to journaling. Unconstrained by genre, he draws deeply from his personal experiences, often spotlighting the darker sides of life, which he believes are what truly make us human. The Young Adult book Genesis is his first official publication, he is currently crafting an adult-length trilogy, filled with complex characters and themes that allow the story to breathe and grow. When he’s not writing, Donald spends time with his legendary 15-year-old poodle, Theodore, who has marked 38 states and counting, truly a dog of epic proportions!
