Donna Butterworth

关于作者

Donna Butterworth was born in 1933. She wrote and illustrated "Dilli" in 1953 while she was attaining her BS degree in early childhood development from the University of Utah. The delightful children's book "Dilli", is about the growth and journey of a daffodil bulb. The vintage manuscript and illustrations were not discovered and published until after her passing in 2023. The published book has replicated Donna's authentic hand-written script. Donna was known to love the cheerful yellow daffodil and would have them growing in her own yard every spring. The daffodil is the first flower of spring and represents the hope that comes after a long winter. Donna spent a lifetime nurturing and encouraging the potential of others as a social worker, a mother to five children, and a grandmother to 28 plus grand and great-grand children.
