Donna Dove grew up on a farm in Maryland. Farm life and an upbringing near Chesapeake Bay and summers at Ocean City helped formulate her love for the outdoors. Married at age 20 to a dairy farmer, Donna is no stranger to hard work. She has 4 grown children and 6 wonderful grandchildren. When the youngest of her 4 children was about 3, Donna began working with Greenberg Publishing, best known for publishing books relating to Lionel, American Flyer and other highly collectible model trains, After a decade with Greenberg, Donna started her own publishing company, Falling Star Publishing. After moving to Western Oklahoma, Donna became a realtor with Moxy Realty. She recently retired and has been able to fulfill a dream of writing and illustrating her own book.
