Dorsey Spencer Jr.

Dorsey Spencer Jr. grew up in Long Island and now lives in central New York with his wife and two children. He has over a decade of experience as an educator and began to write as a way to uplift and highlight the experiences and voices of underrepresented communities. When he’s not dreaming up stories, Dorsey loves to read comic books and science fiction, run, spend time with his family and go to the movies. He worked in Nigeria for several years, igniting a love of travel and inspiring his personal goal to visit every continent in his lifetime. Dorsey hopes his work will contribute to the growing body of literature that portrays Black men and boys positively, especially in father-son relationships.
