Douglas Dowland is Associate Professor of English at Ohio Northern University. He earned his PhD from the University of Iowa in 2010. While at Iowa, he received an Outstanding Teaching Award from its Council on Teaching in 2005. At Ohio Northern, he was named Professor of the Year by the Getty College of Arts and Sciences for 2018-2019.
