CLAYTON FORD

Dr. Clayton Ford has been a pastor and renewal leader for over forty years. He is currently Ambassador-at-Large for Holy Spirit Renewal Ministries (hsrm.org), a ministry dedicated to the spiritual revitalization of Christians, churches, and other organizations. He is also a primary leader and teacher in HSRM's online Renewal School of Ministry (hsrm.org/rsom). Clay is a graduate of Davidson College and also received the Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry seminary degrees. He is a sought-after speaker in the US and abroad. While continuing his focus on Holy Spirit renewal, he has more recently sensed the urgency of our times and is deeply burdened that the Church be adequately prepared for whatever lies ahead. This is Clay's third book. His first book, Berkely Journal: Jesus and the Street-People, A Firsthand Report, was published by Harper and Row when Clay was a young seminary student. His second book, Called to High Adventure: A Fresh Look at the Holy Spirit and the Spirit-Filled Life (Spiritual Journey Press), has been widely used in churches and small group ministries to foster spiritual renewal. He and his wife Cheri (author of six books - see cherylford.com) reside in San Diego. They are the proud parents of two grown children, both active in ministry, and five wonderful grandchildren.
