Dr. Gina Boerger

Dr. Boerger has been a physical therapist for 24 years and has held a variety of clinical and managerial leadership positions throughout her career. She holds a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Arcadia University. Dr. Boerger has multiple specialty certifications in the treatment of people with Parkinson's disease. In addition, she has participated in clinical research regarding the effectiveness of physical therapy interventions for people with Parkinson's and has been published. A strong advocate for patients' access to Parkinson's-specific care and resources, she helped co-found Partners in Parkinson's, a nonprofit resource group for people with Parkinson's disease in Western Ohio. Dr. Boerger is a passionate and established speaker. She has developed both informational presentations and continuing education courses on various topics which she has presented to universities, physician and community groups and Parkinson's resource conventions.
