Dr. Jim Lewis became a licensed amateur radio operator at age 16 and is still licensed as K4SAM. This interest in radio drove him to work his way through engineering school with the ultimate desire being to design first-class communications equipment. He worked as an engineer for 15 years, leaving the profession in 1981 to pursue consulting and instruction of seminars in 30 countries. That change followed earning a doctorate in psychology. Jim has had 13 books published by McGraw-Hill, AMACOM, and Perseus, all on leadership, management, and teamwork, and a number of his titles have been translated into Chinese, Spanish, Russian, Lithuanian, and Polish. Altogether he trained more than 60,000 individuals before semi-retiring in 2017. He has now turned to writing fiction, with his first series being in the fantasy genre, and plans to do one on a psychological topic. Stay tuned Jim is also writing a blog on the series.
