Biography of Rev. Dr. Kenneth R. Kelley, Sr. Rev. Dr. Kenneth R. Kelley, Sr. was born February 1, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois at the Cook County Hospital. He has been married to Rosalyn R. Kelley for over 37 years. In addition, they have three children, Kenneth, Jr, Kesha, and Kendra, one granddaughter Kayla. Currently, he is the Pastor of the Metropolitan Baptist Church of Gary Indiana. In addition, Pastor Kelley was a Church Planter of The Celebration Community Church in Homewood in conjunction with the Chicago Metropolitan Baptist Association. Also, He has served as an Associate Minister at Greater Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago. He has served as the Interim Director of Christian Education/Ministry at the Zion Missionary Baptist Church of East Chicago, Indiana. Also, He has served in the capacity of Senior Pastor of the New Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in East Chicago, Indiana, the Greater Faith Baptist Church, and the Mt. Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, IL. In addition, he served as the Assistant Pastor of the First Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago. Dr. Kenneth R. Kelley, Sr., serves as a Gary, Indiana Police Chaplain. He is the President and founder of Agape International Ministries, a non-for-profit organization. Also, Dr. Kelley is the Author of many published works including writing for the Journal of Palliative Medicine, The Christian Education Informer, The National Hospice Foundation, The Institute for Palliative Medicine at the San Diego Hospice, and his book of poetry entitled, “Do you hear what I am Saying.” Dr. Kelley has an Associate of Arts in Theology degree for Chicago Baptist Institute; Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal and Group Communications from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois; Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School; In addition, he has a Master of Biblical Studies and a Doctor of Ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, Georgia. In May 2020 Dr. Kelley earned a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Studies Program at Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana. Dr. Kenneth R. Kelley, Sr. organized the Metro Community Outreach to provide Assistance and Access to address Community Needs.
