With over 20 years of experience in education and international development, I am a passionate and skilled researcher, educator, and consultant. My expertise lies in teaching and teacher education, higher education, research methods, curriculum and pedagogy, and education policy. I have designed and coordinated research projects with diverse populations; led and facilitated professional development workshops and trainings; cultivated rich relationships with donors and key stakeholders; and produced policy briefs, analytical/evaluation reports, and academic publications for a wide range of audiences. I have worked with various organizations and consultancies across Australia, Indonesia, Mali, Nigeria, Tanzania, USA, UK, and Zambia. My goal is to contribute to the improvement of educational quality and equity across local and global contexts. Currently I am a Senior Lecturer in International and Comparative Education at the University of Glasgow, where I also lead the Department of Education Leadership and Policy. I am the co-editor of Examining Teach For All (Routledge, 2021), the Bloomsbury Handbook of Theory in Comparative and International Education (Bloomsbury, 2021), Australian Universities (Sydney University Press, 2022), and the Bloomsbury Handbook of Method in Comparative and International Education.
