Dr. Rick Quintero

Dr. Ricardo Quintero, Executive Director of TRIO Pre-College Programs at Cal Poly Pomona in California. He manages 2.8 million dollars annually for the nine TRIO Pre-College Program he oversees (Upward Bound, Upward Bound Math/Science and Talent Search).He has experience in writing multiple grants including Upward Bound, Upward Bound Math/Science, McNair and Student Support Services. He holds a Doctorate Degree in Counseling Psychology and Masters Degree in Education. His areas of interest are the intersection of Psychology and Education, Culturally Competent Counseling, Identity Development Models and Religion and Spirituality as they relate to mental health.
