Subramanian Iyer

Since childhood, I am a practicing Hindu and I am familiar with temples, religious festivals and lived among people of all faith. I spent most of my career in doing chemistry research and in teaching chemistry. I have 38 refereed and well cited science papers and a U.S. Patent. I am interested in reading Indian religious philosophy, and intend to write about them in simple terms and wherever relevant, with a scientific touch. I believe, Science and the Hindu religious principles are quite concurring in many aspects. I like cooking, photography and video editing. But when it comes to expressing ideas, I prefer writing. "A Tryst with Maha Vishnu" is my first attempt in writing a book. Many more books, including one with cooking recipes that I have experimented are in order.
