Dr Syed Zafar Abbas

I am a practicing medical doctor, working as a Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist in a hospital at UK. I am a British citizen, with Pakistani background. I graduated from Dow Medical College, Karachi, and then moved to the UK after completing my House Job in Civil Hospital, Karachi. All my post-graduate training has been at the UK. I also worked as Professor of Medicine in Muhammad Medical College, Mirpurkhas, Pakistan for a few years. I come from a family with traditions rich in modern education, particularly Medicine, and also religious. There have been many well-known religious scholars among my close and distant relatives. My parents both had a deep understanding of religion, and love for Islam. So has been the case with my siblings. There are many authors in my family, who have written books on a variety of subjects.
