Drew Adkins

关于作者

Hello, My name is Andrew Adkins, but my friends call me Drew. I wrote my first book at the age of twenty, while living in a small town in the southern United States. All of my life I had dreamed of telling stories to everyone, to be a great author and entertain people, however, I have never really been able to do that when I was a young boy. It's a different story now that I have grown up and possess a pretty firm grasp on the English language. I am able to express all of my dreams into words, to practice my talent, and I am very hopeful that the people who read what comes out enjoy everything I have to offer. I don't consider myself a skilled author, yet, but I work hard all the time to try and expand my vocabulary and story telling abilities. I would like to be successful one day, as anyone would, but it is my strongest hope that anyone who reads my work just finds it a nice story. If I can walk away from this life with the knowledge that I have entertained people just with written words, then I will be happy. Obviously, I'm not the best there is. I may never be the best. I may not even be good, but I just can't stop myself. I love writing and I could write stories forever. Even if there is no one to read them, I will continue to write. It is my passion and I am extremely lucky to have found it so early in my life. I try to incorporate humor into my work, be it tactful or not so much. I think it is important to have a certain amount of laughter involved in any situation. My favorite genre of literature has always been fantasy and science fiction. I love the impossibility of a story, how unlikely things can be, and how interesting futuristic scenarios can play out. Fiction is one of the greatest genres to ever meet paper in my mind. It is one of the truest expressions of inner experiences and the only way for someone to express their very dreams to the world. I simply love it. As I continue along this path, working as hard as I can, taking inspiration where ever it should arise, I desire nothing more than to entertain those who read. I am always looking for ways to improve my work, because there is no such thing as perfection. Also, if anyone is aware of any Publishers interested in taking up a printing contract with me, I am more than open to the idea. I also would like to know what parts of my stories people did not enjoy and which parts they found most pleasing. I write with my own style, but it is an imperfect one. I am open to suggestions. Thank you for finding your way to this page, and I hope you enjoy reading my work as much as I enjoy creating it.
