Welcome to my author's page. I am a native Long Islander, born on the south shore of Suffolk County. As a writer, I began as a ghostwriter, writing for a variety of different people producing books and novels in various genres, including non-fiction. It is through this process that I became interested in the Skinwalker Ranch. My first title, Lost on Skinwalker Ranch, is a product of that relationship, the individual central to the narrative reaching out to me after having read two of those ghostwriter efforts. The three titles to follow, Skinwalker Ranch: In the Shadow of the Ridge, The Muledeer Chronicles and The Airfield each followed a similar path. The source of In the Shadow was a mother who feared for her children. The source of Muledeer was the son of the man who disappeared into the Winnemucca Mountains, leaving behind the journal from which much of the narrative was conceived. The source of the Airfield, whose name was changed in the narrative for obvious reasons, was the least reliable of the three. While much of his narrative was verified to the extent possible, other experiences he wished to share with me were iffy, at the best. The latest related narrative, The Ranch, is the most speculative of the titles. While the work is based on the actual events reported by the family of note, drawn from newspaper articles from the time and from an actual interview with one of the parents, the chronology of these events and their sequence has never been revealed. Therefore, I used my knowledge of these events, the recollection of eyewitnesses (interviewed by various sources), and my familiarity with the setting and people close to it, to make of the whole the best sense possible. My novels The Shadow Walkers: Pilgrim and The Shadow Walkers2: The Planes of the Unruled, are quantum based narratives exploring the horror and paranormal genres. Long Islanders familiar with the history of the abandoned Pilgrim State Psychiatric Center will connect with the story's setting. The Four Lands/Bethany Broom novels, on the other hand, are pure fantasy, narrating the on-going story of teen-aged Bethany Broom and her friends as Bethany comes to accept who she is.
