Dr. Ediho Lokanga lectures physics at ONCAMPUS Aston University, Birmingham, in the United Kingdom. Lokanga is a theoretical physicist and computer scientist. His research interests lie in the diverse area of discrete physics and theoretical computer science. At this stage, his main concern is understanding beyond the standard model (SM) of physics and cosmology from the vantage point of digital physics (The Physics of Information, Computation, Self-Organization and Consciousness). Lokanga has already published the first six parts of his Digital Physics series - The Universe Computes, The Universe Is a Programmed System, The Meaning of the Holographic Universe and Its Implications Beyond Theoretical Physics, The Physics of Information, Computation, Self-Organization and Consciousness Q&A, Decoding the Universe, and Consciousness is Primary. Lokanga argues that when it comes to the theory of everything, we should start all over again. His new ideas, which are set out in his series of Digital Physics titles, can set a new pathway in viewing existence. We are far from reaching a satisfactory theory of quantum gravity, and string theory has not made enough progress in the quest for a theory of everything. It appears that each approach of quantum gravity, such as loop quantum gravity or string theory, is incomplete or simply poorly understood. While acknowledging their successes and achievements of what has gone before, he believes that to achieve the final goal of a theory of gravity and a theory of everything we may need to develop a new more inclusive, complete approach that combines the virtues of these previous theories with information and consciousness. Thus, Digital Physics may be the missing link or paradigm, as it brings new ideas and different perspectives on each of these.
