Hi, I'm Kate! I am a freelance illustrator, and I love creating cute, colorful drawings! I usually focus on children's illustrations but also work on projects for adults, such as avatars, single covers, disc covers, and animated video clips. My journey as an illustrator began back in 2018 when I discovered watercolor sketching. In 2019, I started learning vector illustration using Adobe Illustrator. However, I quickly realized it wasn't my favorite—I prefer soft, hand-drawn styles. So, I switched to Photoshop, then moved on to an Android tablet. Finally, in 2022, something magical happened—I got my first Apple tablet! It was a game-changer with its unique palm rejection feature. Of course, my early digital illustrations were at a beginner level, but I never stopped learning and practicing. I've come a long way since then, and while I've grown, I'm excited to keep improving my skills! And what about me as a person? I'm originally from Russia, but I've been living in Spain since 2014. I have two adorable twin boys—they’re very different from each other! I'm also a cat person, and I have a black cat named Vásya. I hold a Specialist Degree in Law, but after relocating to Spain, I had to change my career path. Now, I'm a Full-Stack Developer and Freelance Illustrator. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, reading, gaming, and handmade crafts (I know how to sew, crochet, and knit). My big dream is to travel to Japan—I’m a huge fan of Japanese culture and food. One day, I’d also love to try making cosplay costumes; I find it incredibly engaging.
