Elena Storer

关于作者

Elena Storer has an MFA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University where she worked closely with expatriate writers Kay Boyle and Francis Mayes. Her short works have been published in SFSU’s literary magazines: Alchemy and Transfer. In the 80’s, she was part of a small writers group with novelist Gail Tsukiyama and poet Victoria Graham. Tired of waitressing at Washington Square Bar and Grill, an SF hang-out for journalists, and politicians such as Diane Feinstein and Walter Mondale—she pursued a PhD in psychology and has been working as a psychotherapist for over thirty years with expertise in treating trauma, sexual assault and those scarred by narcissists. She has done extensive research into the internal workings of narcissists and psychopaths—and those whom she terms as “lethal narcissists.”
