Elizabeth Carolyn Miller is a Professor of English at the University of California, Davis who specializes in nineteenth- and early-twentieth century literature from Britain and the British Empire as well as the environmental humanities. She grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has lived in Davis, California since 2008. Miller has received fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the American Council of Learned Societies.
