Elizabeth F. Caldwell

Elizabeth Caldwell is interested in the spiritual formation of children and the ways new interpretations of biblical stories can support their growth in faith. Her most recent book for adults is Wondering About the Bible with Children (Abingdon Press, 2020). She also enjoys writing books for children with her friends, Carol Wehrheim and Ted Hiebert and working with Flyaway Press. Her most recent children's book is a board book version of God's Big Plan. Elizabeth is the Harold Blake Walker Professor of Pastoral Theology Emerita at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. She teaches as Adjunct Faculty at Vanderbilt Divinity School in Nashville.
