Elizabeth Weston

关于作者

Elizabeth Weston is a mother and grandmother with a Master’s Degree in Education and National Board Teacher certification. Her work is targeted towards young adults and is designed to equip them with the knowledge and resources to handle much of the necessary business of life, the curveballs it throws along the way, as well as the critical skills and habits that will lay a strong foundation for their adult paths. Elizabeth remembers her own experiences in her first years living independently from her parents and the mistakes made along the way because she did not know of or understand many of the tasks and responsibilities that adults are expected to handle, such as the importance of a credit score and how to build it, the assessing of personal property and, and much more. As time went by she remembers how much more efficiently things ran as she learned and applied organizational and management skills to her personal and work life. When her own children grew up and left the nest, she recalls many phone calls from them with questions on adult skills from how to sort the laundry, to how to apply for a passport. She funneled these experiences into the research for this book. When she is not busy writing and researching, Elizabeth enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and traveling all over the world with her husband.
