She is also the community leader for IBM’s Space Exploration Services, and a member of the “Good Technology” team. While growing up in India, Elizebeth read everything she could lay her hands on and spent countless evenings watching the stars. She learned that the intentional use of science and technology can eliminate the multigenerational impact of disparities. Elizebeth strives to pay it forward, center humanity at the heart of all endeavors, and hopes to uncover the magnitude of what we don’t know, and still need to learn. Elizebeth is on the Council of Advisors for the SETI Institute, which works with NASA and other space agencies to explore, understand and explain the origin and nature of life in the universe. Inspired by the scientific principle set to song, “we are stardust, billion year old carbon...”, Elizebeth champions space exploration education and programs. She is a Board member at SAYA (South Asian Youth Action), a non-profit organization providing after-school programming, education and college support.
