Elke Bergsma

Elke Bergsma grew up in East Frisia, Germany, in the wonderful expanse of countryside characterised by windmills, lighthouses, dykes, sheep and cows. Inspired by the books of Enid Blyton, she decided to become a writer. Some 30 years later she published her first novel. Out of love for her homeland and its inhabitants, she decided to write East Frisian crime novels and now does this full-time, passionately and successfully. A lifelong dream came true. Her German crime thrillers have sold more than 2 million copies.
