Ellen Rony

Ellen Rony has authored an extensive portfolio of published works, including books, software reviews in national publications, award-winning newsletters, technical manuals, corporate profiles, product brochures, press releases, marketing collateral and a comprehensive emergency management plan for schools. She has been involved with emergency preparedness activities since 1993, when she led the development of a parent support program for her local school district that has been showcased as a model for other school sites. Working at the Marin County Office of Education as a professional expert since 1995, she has written numerous grant applications and served as the project coordinator for those that were awarded to strengthen emergency preparedness in Marin County schools. After publication of The Domain Name Handbook: High Stakes and Strategies in Cyberspace (1998), Ellen was retained to provide litigation support for several high profile domain name disputes, including the landmark litigation over SEX.COM.
