After completing of his Ph.D., he spent 20+ years in various mid-sized and large German software and consulting enterprises that all operated in the field of production planning and execution. Since 2015 Elmar is COO and Co-owner of NETRONIC Software GmbH. The company is specialized to offer visual scheduling software to a global market. At NETRONIC, Elmar runs the www.just-plan-it.com business and works closely with both customers and the development team to help high-mix low-volume manufacturers grow their job and machine shop businesses with automatic finite scheduling. Taken together, Elmar has a unique combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience in both the implementation and the successful use of scheduling solutions. Elmar currently lives in Aachen, Germany. In his free time, he is interested in Olympic wrestling, likes to travel the world, and enjoys fishing.
