Emily H. Wilson is the author of The Sumerians Trilogy, an epic novel series set in Ancient Mesopotamia and published by Titan Books. The first book in the series, Inanna, was published in August 2023, and the second in the series, Gilgamesh, was published in August 2024. The third and final book in the series, Ninshubar, is due out in 2025. As of February 14, 2024, Inanna is also available in French, thanks to the wonderful publisher Bragelonne in France. Inanna and Gilgamesh are both available on Audible if you prefer to listen to your books. Before becoming a full-time writer, Emily worked as a journalist, most recently at New Scientist, the world's leading science magazine. Emily was the first woman to edit the magazine in its sixty-plus year history. Before New Scientist, she spent 16 years at the Guardian working across news and features. She has a life-long interest in ancient history and prehistory, and is also a huge science fiction fan. She is currently New Scientist's science fiction reviewer. In her spare time, Emily collects prehistoric stone tools from the fields around her home in southwest England.
