Emily Paxton

Hi, I’m Emily Paxton, and I’ve spent most of my life working as a drilling and production engineer. For many years, I tackled complex projects in the oil and gas industry, learning the ins and outs of drilling operations and production management. It was a challenging yet rewarding journey that taught me the value of hard work, persistence, and teamwork. Now that I’m retired, I’ve taken on a new role that’s close to my heart—teaching young children. After becoming prequalified as an early childhood teacher, I’ve dedicated myself to helping early learners build a strong foundation. Working with kids is incredibly fulfilling, and I love the opportunity to spark curiosity and guide them as they explore the world around them. Though my career has shifted from drilling rigs to the classroom, my passion for learning and helping others remains the same. I hope my unique background can bring a fresh perspective to both fields, and I’m excited to share what I’ve learned through my work.
