Emily Raij has written more than 40 children's books and worked as a book editor for more than 15 years. She specializes in editing professional resources for K-12 educators and nonfiction children's books. In addition to books, she has written for various publications, focusing on local communities, parenting topics, and children with special needs. Emily is a native of Chicago, where she earned her bachelor's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. She currently lives in Winter Park, Florida, with her husband, daughter, and son.
