Eric J. Bertrand is a seasoned business leader with a passion for driving digital transformation and innovation. He brings decades of experience in strategic management, operations, and business development, drawing on his extensive career to help organizations navigate the complexities of the digital age. Currently, Eric is the CEO of Mod Op, a full service digital advertising agency that delivers creative and strategic solutions for leading brands like Nestlé, Duracell, ExxonMobil and more. Eric joined the predecessor to Mod Op in 2010, and has since led the Company to achieve substantial growth organically and through acquisitions. Prior to Mod Op, he was the CEO of several companies in the marketing/advertising/entertainment industry. Prior to that, Eric was a partner at Palisade Capital Management’s Private Equity Group, investing in both early-stage companies as well as lower middle market growth companies. Prior to Palisade, he was an analyst with Aetna’s private equity group. Eric has been on the Board of Directors of 29 companies, both public and private. He also has served on the board of charities Unite For Sight and the Alive Inside Foundation. In addition, he served as an Executive Producer of Alive Inside, a documentary film that won the 2014 Sundance Film Festival Audience Award. Eric’s educational background includes a business degree from Bryant University and an MBA from New York University. In 2024, he was awarded The CEO Forum Group’s prestigious Transformative CEO Award in Leadership in the category of Digital Transformation. He was also named as a finalist for Agency Executive of the Year by Digiday.
