Evan J. Roberts is on a mission to empower children through diverse books. He is an energetic author, educator, and youth mentor focused on elevating the self-esteem, reading prowess, and success of youth all across the world. As the author of the Khahari Discovers Series, Khahari Jr. Series, and the young adult leadership series, How to Become Influential and Highly Successful, Mr. Roberts continues to have an immediate and measurable impact on the lives of children and teens. How to Become Influential and Highly Successful: The Young Adult Success Manual. This teen, self-help book serves as a success guide for young adults. There are several principles highlighted throughout the book including, becoming impeccable with self, developing limitless thinking, resiliency, and building momentum. These principles have provided teens with an exact blueprint on how to live intentionally and achieve the extraordinary. The Khahari Discovers series is a children's picture book (2nd -3rd grade) series designed to positively impact African American boys. This series was created to increase the number of children's books that celebrate black boys and girls. It is also Mr. Roberts' way of encouraging early literacy and contributing to the positive portrayal of African American families in literature. The series was inspired by his son Gavin. The Khahari Jr series is an educational children's picture book series (pre-k to kindergarten) that focuses on verbal skills and social/emotional learning. The seven book series is an extraordinary tool for enhancing early literacy skills, such as sight word recognition, sentence structure, and knowledge of letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. Mr. Roberts is an empowering figure in the lives of youth. He has worked with dozens of elementary schools, high schools, colleges, and youth-based organizations.
