Evan Turk is an award-winning illustrator, author, and animator. He is the author-illustrator of 'To See Clearly: A Portrait of David Hockney', which received four starred reviews, and has illustrated many more books, including 'The People's Painter: How Ben Shahn Fought for Justice with Art', a Robert F. Sibert Informational Book Medal Winner; 'Grandfather Gandhi', an Ezra Jack Keats New Illustrator Honor Book; and 'Muddy: The Story of Blues Legend Muddy Waters', a New York Times Best Illustrated Children's Book of the Year. Originally from Colorado, Evan now lives in Southern California with his husband and two cats.
