Faithann Y. Brown

For the past six years, Faithann Y. Brown has coached adult students in time management, test-taking strategies, and study strategies at Rutgers School of Nursing where she served as the director of a tutoring center for second degree nursing students. Previously Faithann advised non-traditional students at Rutgers Business School in the undergraduate and the MBA programs. Her students were primarily commuters who managed heavy financial and emotional responsibilities while enrolled in their degree programs. Faithann spent eighteen years working at Rutgers University in Newark, NJ which has one of the most diverse university campuses in the United States. Her experience in university admissions, academic advising, and academic support has given her keen insight into the unique challenges of adult learners. Faithann holds an MBA and is currently enrolled in graduate school preparing for a second career as a school teacher. She lives in northern New Jersey. For questions, please email brownfy@gmail.com.
