Farid Mostamand was born in Afghanistan and pursued his education at Kabul Medical School. Following the Russian invasion in 1981, Farid left his homeland, relocated to the United States, and established a career as a practicing chiropractor. He wrote several historical fiction novels based on actual events, covering Afghanistan's decades of war and political turmoil. Farid's extensive study of the poetry and philosophy of the renowned mystic Rumi led to five books on Rumi's teachings. Besides his writing endeavors, Farid is passionate about nature, reading, and hiking. His work is a testament to his love for literature, deep connection to his roots, and a profound interest in philosophy and spirituality.
