Fiona Raven

Fiona Raven joined forces with coauthor Glenna Collett to write Book Design Made Simple, a 500-page guide to designing and typesetting a book, for nondesigners and designers alike. Book Design made Simple has won gold medals in two different national book contests. Fiona has designed hundreds of books for self-publishers, small presses, and first-time authors since 1995. Her clients come from places as far-flung as Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Tonga. She is a self-taught designer, having learned her craft from reading and examining countless books on typography, design, layout, and InDesign.
