Flavia Banu

Flavia Banu was born in Bucharest, Romania in 1972. She ventured to the United States in 1985 and fell in love with the English language which was completely new to her. Once she mastered that, she found a new passion, Mathematics. Flavia graduated from Queens college with a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Pure Mathematics. Her teaching career started at Queens College and continued at Bayside High School where she currently enjoys teaching all high school Math levels - because all Math concepts have their own beauty at every level, and because students present a different challenge at different stages of their high school career making her a better teacher. She loves her students and keeps in touch with many of them through Facebook. The idea for this book was born out of a desire to create a comprehensive review sheet for her BC Calculus students to use after the entire syllabus was covered.
