Francis U. Villanueva

It was in the last quarter of 2014 when Author Francis Villanueva was given the unique privilege of supporting the training of the Light Reaction Regiment whose reputation he only heard through hand-me-down stories. This opportunity turned into a desire to document their history and exploits. A lawyer by profession, Francis has worked for law firms, state colleges and universities, and government agencies in different capacities. As if being a writer and lawyer are not enough, Francis’ other passion is music. He is a seasoned bass guitarist who has played with different bands in several parts of Asia. His most significant stint was with the late Filipino music icon Francis Magalona.
