Frank Bohanan is an automotive consultant and journalist specializing in matters relating to vehicle technology, legislation/regulation, and the specialty automotive aftermarket. He has a mechanical engineering background with extensive experience in the areas of powertrain development, emission testing and vehicle electronics. Frank has worked for Ford Motor Company in both the engineering and product planning areas and has also gained additional expertise with high output engines while working at McLaren Engines and Chrysler Corp. He continues to work closely with the automakers, government agencies, specialty parts manufacturers, and consumers. Frank's writing credits include columns regularly published in Mustang & Fords, Mustang Enthusiast and SEMA News magazines plus The Car Connection Internet site, as well as numerous freelance articles published in various nationally circulated magazines. When not writing, lobbying on behalf of vehicle enthusiasts or helping aftermarket companies develop and/or certify their products, Frank is an avid motorsports fan and car collector who has traveled extensively to numerous events. He has also worked as a member of the broadcast crew for many televised professional auto races.
