Frank Curkovic

Hello! I’m Furanku— that’s the Japanese pronunciation of Frank. After living in Japan for over a decade and with a Japanese wife and three lively sons, Japan felt like home. Originally from Canada, I’ve spent more than 20 years as an international educator, exploring diverse cultures and classrooms across Australia, South Korea, England, Japan, and now Singapore. My teaching journey has spanned from kindergarten to grade 12, with a special passion for the Middle Years (grades 6-8). Over the years, I’ve worn many hats—Art teacher, classroom instructor, IT facilitator, Drama teacher, and Design & Technology educator.
