Frank Curtiss

The main body of my work as a writer has been a series of International Mystery thrillers, the Antonio Cortese Mysteries, set in Italy. There are currently four titles in the series, listed in order below: Book 1: Deception in Siena Book 2: Missing in Firenze Book 3: Death in Abundance Book 4: Drowning in Betrayal Prior to becoming an author, Frank and his wife Rhonda owned and operated a popular Italian restaurant, Frankie’s Pizza and Pasta, in Redmond, Washington for 24 years. When their landlords sold to a developer, they chose to retire from the restaurant business and Frank decided to pursue his life-long dream of becoming a writer. During their years as restaurateurs, they traveled to Italy multiple times for rest and inspiration. Frank became enamored with all things Italian: the place, the people, the beauty, the food, and of course, the wine. Thus, it was a natural choice to use the scenic beauty and charm of Italy as the backdrop for his novels. In addition to his mystery series Frank has authored two additional books, an Italian cookbook, and a faith-based book based on he and Rhonda's personal story of tragedy, and God's miraculous hand to bring healing and restoration.
