Freda Cox is a well established writer and artist with a passion for plants and gardens. Books include Seasons in a Country Garden (Fulcrum Publishing), Designing and Creating a Mediterranean Garden (The Crowood Press), Garden Styles an Essential Guide (The Crowood Press), and A Gardener’s Guide to Snowdrops (The Crowood Press). Well known for botanical painting, work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions, and commissioned for textiles, ceramics and greetings cards. Illustrations and articles appear in numerous books and horticultural publications; she has curated exhibitions including two for the RHS; taken part in radio and television programmes, and was the first UK Branch Head of the Mediterranean Garden Society, still contributing regularly to their journal.
