Fredrick Tucker is a native South Carolinian. Like many children of the 1960s, he grew up watching first runs and reruns of classic sitcoms from that decade and the previous one, including I LOVE LUCY, DECEMBER BRIDE, DENNIS THE MENACE, THE DANNY THOMAS SHOW, THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES, BEWITCHED, etc. Even as a child, he realized he enjoyed the performances of the supporting players more than those of the leading actors/actresses. His passion for collecting information about his favorite character actors has become a lifelong pursuit. Mr. Tucker also enjoys genealogy, local history, collecting autographs and antiques, gardening, cooking, and fitness. He has an antique hat collection dating to 1840. He is a retired teacher who served mainly sixth grade social studies classes, teaching ancient world history. "Verna Felton" is his first biography. In May 2021 his second biography "Sweet Oddball: The Story of Alice Pearce" was published by BearManor Media.
