Ross Kelly grew up in Statesboro Georgia as one of ten children to a father who was an independent businessman and a mother who was a Hall of Fame musician. In addition to his musical background as a drummer, songwriter and vocalist, he and his nine brothers and sisters performed song and dance routines as part of his mother's musical performances. They were characterized by many as 'the Von Trapp family of the south.' After retiring from a 30+ year career in industry, Ross has devoted his life to the three things he loves most: his family, his music, and writing. To enable those pursuits, he founded a non-profit firm called EmmaSaid Productions (www.emmasaidproductions.com), which provides the platform from which to write music, write books and stories, and provide workshops and other educational programs to help other aspiring writers and musicians do the same. His first book, "What's Your Favorite Song?" chronicled the life of his family growing up in the south in the 1960's. In addition to his own writings, he provides ghostwriting and related services in support of others who wish to write their family or personal stories.
