Gail O'Bannon

Gail O’Bannon is an author based in Irving, Texas, who writes both children’s books and an anthology of family quotes for teens and adults. As a genealogist, she is deeply passionate about preserving family stories and history, and her books celebrate the unique bonds and relationships within families of all kinds. Gail is committed to creating inclusive literature and enhancing the diversity of available children's books, especially those that highlight the experiences of African American children and families. When she's not writing, Gail enjoys taking photographs, and listening to music, especially on vinyl.
