Gailen Runge

Gailen Runge has been writing, editing, and quilting since 1991. In publishing she specialized in magazine startups (writing articles on such varied topics as participant sports, travel, homebrewing, business, and California lifestyle) and in quilting she operated her own custom-quilt business before joining the team at C&T Publishing in 2002. As the Creative Director at C&T Publishing, she gets to focus on her two career passions — sewing and editing — everyday. Since arriving at C&T, her writing has focused on quilting and sewing related themes. A true serial crafter, Gailen will try any and every craft at least once. She is currently focused on creating and sharing fun and easy quilting projects for beginners, bag making, and all things kraft-tex.
