Galen K. Johnson holds degrees from Wake Forest University (BA), Princeton Theological Seminary (MDiv), and Baylor University (PhD). He has published dozens of articles on all periods of European and American history and literature, but his specialization is the study of sixteenth and seventeenth century England, particularly the writer John Bunyan. His hobbies include taking walks with his daughter, visiting historic sites and national parks, listening to classical music and Elvis Presley, and watching his favorite sports teams. Dr. Johnson has taught at both private and public colleges since 1996 and, since 2012, now happily teaches history and philosophy classes from his home in Arkansas for Liberty University, University of Arizona Global Campus and Hartwell Education.
