Gary Jon Anderson

Gary Jon Anderson recently retired from Law Enforcement after a distinguished, thirty six year career. Throughout those years he has been a K9 handler, a Motorcycle officer, a Firearms Instructor, a Crash Reconstructionist, a Commercial Motor Vehicle Inspector and an Emergency Vehicle Operations instructor. Before joining the Police Force, he worked as a carpenter, a printer and a Warehouseman. After the death of his father-in-law in 2006, he took on the task of running the farm for his mother-in-law as well as working full time as an Officer. He and his wife, author Larena Anderson have three grown children, one granddaughter, a step-granddaughter and a step-grandson. They now have multiple step great grand children. Like the main character in this book series, Eli Exeter, he recognizes the severe lack in our current criminal justice system as the Law seeks a physical solution to a spiritual problem. It was this issue that led him to begin writing these books. Besides work and church, Gary loves doing short term missions trips. He has traveled to both Mexico and Haiti to build houses, train Police Officers, and teach job skills. In addition, he loves to preach the good news of redemption through Jesus Christ
