My name is Gary Tate, I am sixty-three years old (2012). I am a retired Vietnam Veteran, serving from July, 1969 to March, 1970. Having served with the 1st Calvary, infantry, and receiving a purple heart and one with an Oak leaf cluster. Appropriate since I got between 2 or 3 RPG's. Now a Christian father of four grown adults, I have seen God's grace and mercy in my life. I have been happily married for 41 years, 2012, to my wife, Anne. I met right her after I got home from Vietnam in 1970, at a local College party, in May, that was being held at a local forest preserve. She had shared she had prayed for a Vietnam Veteran, I then said that was me. I later told her I wanted to marry her that day. One year later, after we met, we did! I have received my license as a Minister from Oasis Christian Church in 2012. Being a survivor of trauma and stress, I understand to some degree what we all face. As I have listened and shared with many people concerning stress and trauma, I find this to be a common area we all want to understand and begin or continue the process of recovery. I find most people are looking for help or suggestions on how to begin or continue their walk towards wholeness. I pray this book touches you and that you will begin to live life more fully as I have.
