Gay Bearden

Gay Bearden has always had the dream to write children’s books ever since being in the classroom as a second grade teacher. As her home became an empty nest she seized the opportunity to do just that. In between giving piano lessons in her home music studio she has now written 6 books (with 2 more in the planning stage). Currently her books are: Come to my Party, Will You help Me?,(illustrated by her son Andrew Bearden) The Troll Under the Bridge, (illustrated by her daughter Rebekah Robeson) You Are a Treasure!,(illustrated by her music students) Letters in the Attic,(a small chapter book with vintage photos from the author’s childhood) and Uncle Bill’s Parade.(illustrated by her own Uncle Bill Beech).
