My career as a private investigator came to an abrupt end after I was diagnosed with Parkinson's and with the loving support of my wife I turned my dream of becoming a children's book author into reality. The driving passion behind Stormy Night Books came from the things I experienced as a child; those experiences left me with the desire to reach out and make a difference in a another child's life. I taught my children to be the architects of their lives, to bring good into this world. My example to them comes from forging on in spite of the challenges I am faced with, remaining positive and looking for the good in life. I believe something good can come from all things. My children's books reflect my positive outlook, both in their topics and in my illustrations.
